We are a Swansea based first aid training provider, delivering HSE courses both locally in the South Wales area and nationally. We specialise in bespoke and standard HSE approved training courses tailored to meet your requirements. Our courses are provided in a friendly and relaxed environment, delivered by our highly experienced and professional trainers who have a background in the military and emergency services. Programmes can be delivered at a location of your choice, such as your workplace or at facilities we have at our disposal for HSE course training in South and West Wales.

We have breakdown cover for our vehicles, insurance for our mobile phones and even an old torch stored away somewhere should the electricity fail in the dead of night.

You may find yourself in a situation where a work colleague has fallen over and cut their head, or someone has fainted due to an unknown condition. Would you know what to do in such circumstances?

Having some basic first aid skills can mean the difference between life and death, deterioration and recovery.

The ability to provide basic first aid is a fundamental skill, which will assist YOU in dealing with an emergency situation. Such skills will help you to prioritize the treatment of a single casualty and to determine who to treat first and in what order, when dealing with several casualties.

There are two major pieces of legislation which govern systems and processes employed within YOUR work environment, namely the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Health and Safety First Aid Regulations 1981. Employers are responsible for ensuring the provision of sufficient, qualified first aiders and appropriate equipment in order to deal with any incident where first aid is called upon. This includes the provision of Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and a wide range of other first aid skills.

Here at Swansea First Aid, as emergency first response accredited trainers we are fully compliant with HSE standards. Our courses follow current emergency casualty care standards as published in the European Resuscitation Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care and the Basic Life Support (BLS) group of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR). ILCOR is an international standards group representing most of the world's major resuscitation organisations.

Swansea First Aid are focused on training its participants to be competent emergency first responders. We will teach you in a non stressful learning environment where you will be provided with as much practical time as necessary to master and retain your newly developed skills.

Swansea First Aid courses encompass adult, child and infant CPR and first aid skills including Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) training. Our programmes are flexible in design to accommodate scheduling and training needs. Participants learn and practice the same casualty care techniques and principles used by medical professionals.
